The iServe HNC600 is an advanced rural and remote surveillance technology product that provides a simple and cost effective method for unattended surveillance operations. The product uses cellular or satellite communications to deliver captured motion video and imagery to PCs and handsets. When configured for Event Based recording, triggering events can be notified through SMS, or through Email with imagery/video attachments eliminating the need for continuous monitoring. The unit also supports Time Lapse recording and will provide periodic imagery updates over the communications network eliminating the need for continuous site visits. The product has a wide range of applications in rural and remote surveillance operations where notifications and video verification are required only on event activity or at periodic intervals.

When the unit is powered from a permanent source, the product will email the pre and post event video associated with an event to PCs and handsets. The product can be accessed on-line  remotely using the WLAN to view live video.

When the unit is powered from a battery source the product will operate in a very low power mode until an event occurs. The unit will then email the imagery/video associated with a triggering event to PCs and handsets. In low power mode, dialling into the cellular modem activates the WLAN enabling broadband access to the unit over short distances. This extends battery life and is an ideal solution for accessing the device to remove recorded data or to view live video without compromising a surveillance operation.

The product is completely configurable through the web interface, controlling the bandwidth requirements for video and telemetry transmission, the activation and deactivation of alarm events and the recipients of the SMS and Email messages with imagery/video attachments.

The product is supported with both wired and wireless Passive Infra Red and magnetic sensors.
